Todays Tip: This weeks Musky fishing

Musky have been moving fairly well. This entire week will see highs in the mid to higher 80s so expect water temperatures to go up. That said, this week I expect the trolling bite will get very good this week. You can still troll break lines and points but with increasing water temperatures those same deeper areas that walleye go to hang out in during this time are great spots to troll musky. Troll open deep water with plenty of cover on the bottom. Mattlocks, Bigger Jakes and Grandma baits are all solid choices. At night you can certainly move shallower and try some topwater and bucktails casting in shallow and bringing it over the top of the weeds into deeper water.
